Service Description
Take some time out from your busy day to connect with yourself and your baby, learning mindful techniques that result in a confident and fearless birth. These classes will guide you through gentle movements and breathwork that benefit both mum and baby during pregnancy and birth. Through the use of repetitive and sweeping movements, we can effectively access the lymphatic nodes and fascia. Lymph is well known for removing toxins from the bloodstream, thereby supporting an optimally functioning immune system during pregnancy. Our nervous system is deeply embedded in fascia. When we move with intention to release tension here, we can support the parasympathic nervous system needed during dilation and release phases during birth. You will also be given the tools to ease the common discomforts that can accompany pregnancy. Our primary focus is to balance and stabilise the pelvis, aka the "central hub" of the body. When the pelvis is aligned, this creates ripple effects to a healthy functioning spine and lower body. Be immersed in a nurturing environment where you can connect with other mums, building a mutually beneficial community of support and emotional comfort.
