🌞A children's yoga class is a non-competitive and safe space for children to explore their innate creativity in body, mind and spirit. This holiday workshop is designed to provide opportunities for your tween to have fun while unwinding tension from the school term. Assessments and performance anxiety are some of the top stressors in children's lives. It's essential to offset the buildup of cortisol through play, movement and connection. The children will receive benefits such as these from the workshop... ✨ increased body awareness and proprioception ✨ learning self-regulation tools ✨ nurturing self-confidence and co-operative skills ✨ building strength and improving muscle tone ✨ addressing bilateral integration (left and right brain function) ✨ the feeling of safety within a small, non-competitive environment ✨ learning to communicate feelings in constructive ways ✨ ...and so much more! But because we have a longer duration of time together, the workshop feels spacious, and a deeper level of mindfulness can be cultivated. The workshop runs for 2.5 hours, with heaps of time and space in between to snack, hydrate and connect with others in the group. 🌞Who is your child's teacher? Katia is a qualified children's yoga teacher who draws on her extensive experience in working with children in a school setting. With an honours degree in learning support (special needs), Katia is aware of the various learning styles that children bring to the space and can adapt classes to suit the group's needs. Cancellation Policy
Your booking and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur and illness can prevent attendance. Our venue holds limited spaces, and many of our courses sell out. For this reason, we cannot accept cancellations or refunds for classes not attended within the course. However, if you give us at least 24 hours' notice of your need to cancel the course, we will credit your payment toward the next available course. This credit will only be granted for attendees who have incurred a recent injury or illness that will affect their ability to participate in the classes.
